This post will show how to do it using the butterfly life cycle as an example. All turtles start out as eggs. For each tick, their color turns whiter until it reaches a particular stage that they all become caterpillars. As caterpillars, they are capable of moving within the world. After the tick value is 20, all caterpillars turn into butterflies.
